Heat pumps, ductless mini splits, and zoned systems all come with different equipment and installation cost structures than a standard central AC and furnace setup.
Ductwork condition
If existing ductwork is in good shape and properly sized for the new system, installation is simpler and less costly than a job that requires duct modification, resizing, or repair to properly support new equipment.
